We are excited to release our plans for the redevelopment of Quay House in London’s vibrant Canary Wharf. Having acquired the site in summer 2018, we’ve been working closely with the community, borough and other stakeholders to bring forward a proposal which we’re confident will make a positive contribution to the skyline.
Our scheme will replace the existing three-storey office building with a high-quality and sustainable development comprising a 400 bedroom hotel, 279 serviced apartments and impressive dockside leisure facilities.
Designed to provide significant improvements to the dockside area, the new proposals will include the activation of currently underused public spaces beneath the DLR and Admirals Way – including dedicated parkour equipment – to improve accessibility for the local community, tourists and businesses, whilst simultaneously enhancing the pedestrian experience along the waterfront.
Once operational, Quay House will generate significant employment opportunities for local people, generating up to 230 full-time equivalent jobs in the new hotel and serviced apartments, in addition to 300 jobs during construction. At 40 storeys, the proposed landmark development overlooking Canary Wharf will be consistent with the height range evident among existing buildings and those currently under-construction in the South Quay and northern Millwall area.
