Manns joins team at Bosnia’s Oikos Institute

Rockwell are delighted to announce that our Board Director and Head of Planning and Development, Jonathan Manns, has accepted an invitation to the Editorial Board of the Oikos Institute’s journal Economics.

Launched in 2013, the journal presents scientific and professional research in the field of economics, management and business informatics. The journal is published by the Oikos Institute, which is a higher education and scientific research institution based in Republika Srpska, one of the two political entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Jon joins its Editorial Board, composed of distinguished global academics and professionals, and will also act as an Expert Advisor and International Reviewer.

The goal of the Oikos Institute is to gather experts with a sense for scientific research from around the world to realise their visions and ideas through physical projects and policy interventions. In addition to expanding the reach and influences of Economics, the intention of the local organisation in Bijeljina is to design and deliver both projects and strategies which help to stabilize the local and national economies in the Balkan region.

Commenting on the appointment, Manns said:

“The Oikos Institute in Bijeljina performs a hugely meaningful role in building research and commercial networks between the Balkans and the rest of the world. It’s seeks to raise awareness, promote best-practice, attract and retain talent for the region. This is key to improving social, economic and territorial cohesion within Europe and to enhancing the lives of citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I’m delighted to have an opportunity to support this important work.”
