Rockwell Property is delighted to announce that the successful candidate for our inaugural two-week Summer Internship Programme (SIP) is 20 year-old Ben Wilkinson.
Originally from London, Ben is currently reading for an undergraduate degree in Economics and Philosophy at the University of Leeds, where he has a particular interest in housing. With stiff competition for the place, the team were impressed by Ben’s interests in balancing commercial realities with an ethical approach to delivering places which work for everybody.
Over his two weeks with Rockwell, we’ve tailored a programme which will see Ben working across all key aspects of the business including Land Acquisition, Planning, Development and Finance. This will see him assisting both with our current projects and those which we hope to take-on in the future.
On joining Rockwell, Ben said: “I am so pleased to have the opportunity to spend time with such an exciting firm, which is delivering so many fantastic projects across London. The team have a real passion for delivering great places and it’s immediately clear that Rockwell share my belief this is the result of a harmony between economics and philosophy. I’m excited to learn more about how to achieve that perfect balance!”
Donal Mulryan, Founder, said: “We’re delighted to have Ben join Rockwell. Our inaugural Summer Internship has proven to be hugely competitive and we’re confident that it will be a great success. Ben will be fully exposed to the property industry, our business and the mechanics of designing high-quality places which stand the test of time. He has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to understanding how the development industry can deliver for the public and we’re thrilled to help support him as he builds his knowledge even further”.
Welcome to Rockwell, Ben!
