Rockwell is pleased to announce that we have now signed the s106 Agreement for our proposed redevelopment of Quay House and received the Decision Notice.
We’re proud of the scheme and confident that the approved 40-storey hotel and serviced-apartment scheme will become an iconic feature on London’s skyline, sitting in a prominent dockside location on South Quay at Canary Wharf.
The issuing of a Decision Notice is an exciting step forward for Rockwell, with this being our second scheme to receive permission in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, in addition to our building at 82 West India Dock Road which is currently under construction.
Jonathan Manns, Board Director and Head of Planning and Development commented:
“This is a fantastic step forward for an exceptional scheme and we’re excited to bring it to fruition. This development not only brings high-quality design, but also substantial public benefits to the local area by way of substantial job creation, innovative public realm and an additional £35 million spend per annum to the local economy.”
