The Rockwell team were once again delighted to join this year’s Patchwork Foundation Masterclass cohort for a Keynote event in the charity’s series; with our Founder Donal Mulryan.
This virtual briefing gave Patchworkers the opportunity for a detailed Q&A session with Donal, in which his views were sought on everything from business leadership to the importance of rest and relaxation. In addressing the Patchworkers, Donal touched on his expansive 25-year property career, offering insights into the way we might approach the challenges and opportunities which life presents.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, given recent Covid-19 pandemic, many Patchworkers were curious to learn more about the way in which to approach uncertainty, both at work and at home; to which his advice was to accept this as an inescapable fact of life and to address it through proactivity and positivity. This was part of a consistent message that to succeed requires both personal drive, but also a willingness listen to others and to be open-minded. His answers were also underpinned by a recognition of the important role that family and community play in our lives.
With positive feedback already being received by Rockwell it was, as always, a pleasure to catch up with the Patchworkers and to share in their journey through the Masterclass programme. We very much look forward to working with them and so joining them (hopefully in person) at their graduation later this year.
