Further Support for Teaching at UCL

Rockwell are delighted to announce that our Executive Director, Jonathan Manns, has been back at UCL for another guest lecture on real estate development.

On this occasion, on 8 March, Jon was invited to speak with students reading for a BSc in Urban Planning and Real Estate. As one of the most popular courses taught by UCL’s Bartlett School of Planning, this course examines current urban challenges with a focus on property markets, investment decisions and real estate economics.

Jon’s lecture sought to offer an insight on the importance of location as one of the fundamental components of any scheme; from the mechanics of valuation, funding, construction and profitability to the final product and as it materialises in terms of use, design and appearance. Described by one attendee as “insightful and interesting”, Jon’s contribution will not only support student’s wider learning but also assist with individual assignments which relate to the importance of location.

We look forward to continuing our support of the UCL’s academic programme over the coming months.
