Rockwell welcomes Hurun delegates to Hurlingham Waterfront
On Friday 1 September, we were delighted to welcome 40 Hurun delegates to Hurlingham Waterfront for a tour of the development’s marketing suite, the site and a visit to the nearby Hurlingham Club.
Hurun is the publisher of the Hurun Reports, a series of reports which list the most successful businesspeople, the most generous philanthropists, the top artists and more. It is an organisation which promotes entrepreneurship and excellence across finance, medicine and many other disciplines. The delegates, comprising a group of successful entrepreneurs from China, were invited to see the very best of what London has to offer; from real estate to fashion and much more.
The delegates were welcomed to our purpose-built marketing suite, just across the River Thames from the Hurlingham Waterfront site, where they received a full presentation in Mandarin about Hurlingham Waterfront, while also enjoying the immersive development experience with a tour of the show apartments. The guests were then guided across the River Thames to the 3.2 acre site of Hurlingham Waterfront, which is set to be completely transformed, turning what was once an old Curry’s store and paved parking lot into a high-end multi-use area, with new green spaces, shops, restaurants and 269 design-led residences.
From the site, delegates proceeded to the Hurlingham Club, where they were welcomed to the picturesque Terrace Room by Founder of Rockwell, Donal Mulryan. The annual Hurlingham Arts Festival was also taking place and delegates were treated to musical and theatrical performances in the Club’s tranquil settings.
