Rockwell Shortlisted for the PROPS Awards 2025
We are pleased to share that Rockwell has been shortlisted for the ‘Social Value’ category of Variety’s PROPS Awards 2025, which recognises the importance of the property industry going beyond the buildings and giving back to local communities.
We proudly support a number of charities local to our developments, honouring our commitment to ensuring the developments transform the communities they serve and install pride for generations to come.
Just around the corner from our development in SW6, Hurlingham Waterfront, we maintained our ongoing partnership with SEAPIA, an organisation offering a safe, inclusive environment for children aged 4-13, by sponsoring its raffle at the Wandsworth Bridge Road Spring Fayre, supplying new high vis jackets for the children at SEAPIA and more.
Rockwell also recognised the importance of supporting mothers and grandmothers as well as children, donating to the ‘Mother’s Day Bundle’ of Little Village, a charity that supports families with babies and children under five living in poverty.
Meanwhile, at our 30 storey Vetro development in Westferry, the team raised over £2,000 for the Keeping Families Together charity by collectively climbing the equivalent height of Mount Everest. We continued our partnership with the charity, helping to redecorate Earlsfield Baptist Church, transforming it into a welcoming and vibrant community space.
Our work to support communities extended south of the River Thames as well, and, during the 2024 UEFA European Football Championships, we organised a watch party of England vs Denmark, raising £2,200 to support Carney’s Community in Battersea, and helping transform young lives through personal development.
In November 2024, essential improvement works were completed at the Katherine Low Settlement (KLS) in Battersea, a vital hub supporting refugee families and adults learning English. Earlier in the summer a construction skills bootcamp was hosted at our Hurlingham Waterfront development to offer hands-on experience to aspiring industry professionals.
We were also honoured to become the headline sponsor of the Battersea Ball, which raised £48,000 for Battersea Crime Prevention Panel (BCPP). The funds supported BCPP’s Summer Scheme, which included a football training session led by Harry and Jamie Redknapp – donated by Rockwell – for children from local youth clubs.
Winners of each category for the 2025 PROPS Awards will be announced on Thursday 15 May 2025, from 11:45 am at JW Marriott Grosvenor House, London, W1K 7TN. To learn more about the event visit https://www.variety.org.uk/event/the-33rd-props-awards/
