Rockwell find Summit Success for LandAid!
We are pleased to announce that, despite some sore feet, at 0750 on Saturday 24 July the Rockwell team successfully completed the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for LandAid: having scaled Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.
The Three Peaks themselves, to be completed collectively in less than 24 hours, require teams to cover 23 miles (37km) with an ascent and subsequent decent of 3064 metres (10,052ft): routes which Rockwell managed to cover in a combined walk-time of 13hrs 55 minutes.
By far and away the team’s most significant challenge to date, the walk follows on from a London to Cambridge cycle in October 2020 to assist in meeting our combined fundraising target of £10,000. We would like to thank all those who have donated thus far and are pleased to confirm that there is still time to donate by clicking the JustGiving page link here.
LandAid is an exceptionally worthwhile organisation which brings together businesses and individuals from across the industry to support and deliver life-changing projects for young people who are or have been homeless, or who are at risk of homelessness.
