Topping Out Celebrated at Hurlingham Waterfront
On Thursday 24 April, Rockwell marked an exciting milestone with a traditional topping out ceremony for our luxury landmark riverside 3.2 acre development in SW6, Hurlingham Waterfront.
The official ceremony was celebrated by the Rockwell team, project partners, local partners and key stakeholders, including Palace and Hurlingham ward Councillor, Amanda Lloyd-Harris. Speaking at the ceremony, Council Lloyd-Harris highlighted the positive impact Hurlingham Waterfront has already had on the local area, including Rockwell’s partnership with local children’s charity Sands End Associated Projects in Action (SEAPIA), with Rockwell recently sponsoring SEAPIA’s stand at the Wandsworth Bridge Road Spring Fayre and previously building a waterproof outdoor play area for the charity.
Following the ceremony, guests were invited back to the Hurlingham Waterfront Marketing Suite, where they enjoyed a selection of canapés, refreshments and music from popular artist, Verushka.
The moment was testament to the vision, dedication, and hard work of everyone involved in the project, with the construction of Hurlingham Waterfront continuing to progress at pace, as work on the façade of the building and fit out of the interior is well underway.
Completion of the highly anticipated development will generate hundreds of new jobs for the local economy, in addition to 45 much-needed new affordable housing units for the local community.
Set within one of London’s most sought-after postcodes, the riverside development will offer 269 beautifully designed apartments, complete with sustainably planted gardens. Designed with the river and nature in mind, the development combines outstanding spaces to work, exercise and unwind in, with close proximity to some of London’s finest shops, restaurants, bars, galleries and green spaces.
